The East African Breweries Limited (EABL) has unveiled an off-trade consumer promotion aimed at rewarding and appreciating consumers of all Beer, Ready-To-Drink and Spirits brands.
The eight-week promotion, dubbed ‘Red Dot’, will see shoppers win prizes worth over Kshs.10 million on a daily, weekly and monthly basis, if they purchase EABL products with a red dot sticker in over 150 retail off-trade outlets countrywide.
The new and improved promotion is designed for consumers who buy EABL products at retail outlets, with a view to enjoying them at destinations other than pubs or restaurants.
According to the Premium Trade Sales Director at KBL, Andrew Kilonzo this edition has more partners who will be carrying participating brands for consumers to purchase and participate which will enable more consumers to easily access this promotion.
“This is the second time we are having the Red Dot Consumer Promotion, following the great success of the first edition that ran over December 2015,” said Kilonzo.
To participate, shoppers who purchase products with the red dot sticker will have to scratch to reveal a seven-character code, which they will send via SMS to 20247. Then, they will stand a chance to either win daily instant cash prizes or be entered into weekly, monthly and grand draws.
The grand prize in the promotion which starts on 27th February 2017 and is a brand new BMW X1, a top-of-range luxury car brand with off road capabilities.
In addition, EABL will also reward consumers on a daily, weekly and monthly basis with cash, home theatres, Smart TVs and shopping vouchers.
The promotion also covers various wines and spirits shops, participating fuel forecourt convenience stores and shops amongst others.
All consumers that participate in this promotion must be 18 years old and above.

The Red Dot Consumer Promotion follows another successful EABL Guinness national consumer promotion in which consumers won various prizes and a grand prize of a trip to the United Kingdom to watch a live football match.
